My name is Leticia Bucio and I am honored to introduce myself as your new Principal for the 2021-22 school year! I am a Sacramento native and have worked for SCUSD for the past 16 years at a large high school as a Counselor then an Assistant Principal. It is with great pleasure that I am now serving you in the capacity of Principal.
Bonnie DeBiasio
Resource Specialist Program Teacher (RSP)
Hello I’m Mrs. Bonnie DeBiasio and I teach RSP support both in the GE classroom and small group instruction. and I’ve been a Resource Specialist for the past nine years. I couldn’t be more excited to be starting my second year at HPHS! I love being a part of a school that is so caring of its students and their families.
I graduated from CSU, Chico with a BA in Education and two teaching credentials which include K-6 General Education and K-12 Special Education. I have been married to my husband, Joe for the past nine years and we have two beautiful children ages two and three.
Katherine Hull
Medical English 9
My passion is learning with and from my students through real-world literacy practices. I strive to cultivate a positive, safe learning environment for students so they will want to take risks to grow and learn in new ways. My teaching is student-centered and I want students to feel seen, heard, engaged, and loved.
Patrick Landrum
Instructional Aide
I have been working in education for about 10 years. I started as a math tutor at Merced College and Sacramento State where I assist students on strategies to homework assignments, exam preparation, and study skills.
I have been an Instructional Aide for 5 years where I support students in academics. This is my 3rd year at Health Professions High School.
Stephanie LeSieur

Hello my name is Stephanie LeSieur-Byrnes. I have been at HPHS for 13 years. I teach Medical Science 11, Accelerated Education and ASB. The students call me ”Ms.L.” I have been married for 10 years and have 2 children. I enjoy camping, boating, dirt bike riding, traveling, organizing, and shopping.

Janet Love
SDC Social Worker
I graduated from California State University, Sacramento with my Bachelors of Arts in Social Work in 1992 and with my Masters of Social Work, along with my Pupil Personnel Service Credential in School Social Work in 1995. I came to Health Professions High School the Spring Semester of 2016. Prior to coming to Health Professions, I worked in SCUSD’s Child Development Department for 17 years as a school social worker.
Christin O’Cuddehy
Christin O’Cuddehy US Government/Economics and Medical English 12
I teach Senior Medical English and Senior Government/Economics, and I’m thrilled to be starting another year at HPHS!
I am passionate about Health and Healthcare as a Social Justice issue, and my students can expect to address questions of equity and access on a regular basis. All of my classes have a strong focus on communication, both written and oral, and each grade level will complete at least one civic action project over the course of the year.
