Hello I’m Mrs. Bonnie DeBiasio and I teach RSP support both in the GE classroom and small group instruction. and I’ve been a Resource Specialist for the past nine years. I couldn’t be more excited to be starting my second year at HPHS! I love being a part of a school that is so caring of its students and their families.
I graduated from CSU, Chico with a BA in Education and two teaching credentials which include K-6 General Education and K-12 Special Education. I have been married to my husband, Joe for the past nine years and we have two beautiful children ages two and three.
My passion is learning with and from my students through real-world literacy practices. I strive to cultivate a positive, safe learning environment for students so they will want to take risks to grow and learn in new ways. My teaching is student-centered and I want students to feel seen, heard, engaged, and loved.
I have been working in education for about 10 years. I started as a math tutor at Merced College and Sacramento State where I assist students on strategies to homework assignments, exam preparation, and study skills.
I have been an Instructional Aide for 5 years where I support students in academics. This is my 3rd year at Health Professions High School.
