Health Professions High School, home of the Jaguars, aims to provide students with a unique and innovative educational experience rich with relevant and college preparatory academics, application and leadership experiences-using healthcare as a theme.  Our students will graduate college and career ready with much more than a diploma; learning how to suture, getting CPR certified and participating in enrichment programs at local hospitals are only the beginning! The electives offered are heavily science-based because of the specialized focus on healthcare and healthcare careers. Other elective courses include higher level math and world language classes.

A Small, Innovative high school in the Sacramento City Unified School District.

A health care themed school that offers a challenging & relevant high school experience focused on preparing our students for college and career; we are 2nd in the district in A-G completion rates! (College readiness requirements).

2nd in the district in college attendance by graduates; 71% of our graduates are attending college!

Open to ANY student in the Sacramento Region, in or out of the district.

Working in partnership with local health care providers to ensure students experience a variety of health care professions while still in high school.
