Hello I’m Mrs. Bonnie DeBiasio and I teach RSP support both in the GE classroom and small group instruction. and I’ve been a Resource Specialist for the past nine years. I couldn’t be more excited to be starting my second year at HPHS! I love being a part of a school that is so caring of its students and their families.
I graduated from CSU, Chico with a BA in Education and two teaching credentials which include K-6 General Education and K-12 Special Education. I have been married to my husband, Joe for the past nine years and we have two beautiful children ages two and three.

Hello my name is Stephanie LeSieur-Byrnes. I have been at HPHS for 13 years. I teach Medical Science 11, Accelerated Education and ASB. The students call me ”Ms.L.” I have been married for 10 years and have 2 children. I enjoy camping, boating, dirt bike riding, traveling, organizing, and shopping.

I teach Senior Medical English and Senior Government/Economics, and I’m thrilled to be starting another year at HPHS!
I am passionate about Health and Healthcare as a Social Justice issue, and my students can expect to address questions of equity and access on a regular basis. All of my classes have a strong focus on communication, both written and oral, and each grade level will complete at least one civic action project over the course of the year.

Herson Perez
Spanish I and II & Medical Spanish
Hola, my name is Herson Pérez. I have been teaching Spanish for ten years at Health Professions High School. This year I’ll be teaching levels 1, 2, and Medical Spanish. I received a Masters degree in Spanish from California State University Sacramento. I enjoy reading and exercising. My favorite writers are Gabriel García Márquez and Mario Vargas Llosa. My favorite musical is, of course, Hamilton. My favorite food is almond butter and my favorite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude. Viva HPHS!
Richard Reyes
Physical Education
Hello, My name is Richard Reyes. This is my first year at Health Profession High School, and I’m very excited to be here, and to work with this wonderful staff. I teach Physical Education for 9th and 12th graders. I also coach volleyball at HPHS and McClatchy HS in the fall.
I look forward to teaching everything from nutrition, biomechanics of human anatomy, sports, and much more.
I enjoy traveling and learning new cultures, camping, swimming, boating, golfing, and spending quality time with my friends, sisters, nieces and nephews.
