I teach Senior Medical English and Senior Government/Economics, and I’m thrilled to be starting another year at HPHS!

I am passionate about Health and Healthcare as a Social Justice issue, and my students can expect to address questions of equity and access on a regular basis. All of my classes have a strong focus on communication, both written and oral, and each grade level will complete at least one civic action project over the course of the year.

I have a BA in Theater from CSUS and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from UOP. I serve on the curriculum map development team for the SCUSD and the supplemental curriculum committee. I am one of two teacher leads for Y-PLAN in the district and a member of the HPHS PBIS team. I also love David Bowie, Zombies, Urban Fantasy, and dogs – not necessarily in that order.
