We Are…

A Small, Specialty High School in the Sacramento City Unified School District.

A health care themed school that offers a challenging & relevant high school experience focused on preparing our students for college and careers in the healthcare field. Our students complete a 4-year Patient Care Pathway that includes work-based learning, clinical experiences in hospital settings and industry certifications including BLS, Stop-the-Bleed & Medical Assistant training. 

We offer a college success class and counseling support for students dual-enrolled in college classes and students graduate with an average of 10 or more college units. 

We are open to ANY student in the Sacramento Region (in or out of the district) who is interested in healthcare and enrolling in our Career and Technical Education Patient Care Pathway. 

In partnership with local hospitals, emergency medical responders, and health care providers, we give students early access to work with industry professionals, the opportunity to learn clinical skills, and exposure to a wide range of healthcare careers while still in high school.

Our mission is to provide students with an outstanding education, rich with relevant academic, application and leadership experiences – using healthcare as a theme.
